Who runs this site
write.kavicorner.uk is Elanabelle’s writing corner, a self-hosted WordPress site. For questions about this policy or about your data, email [email protected].
No comments, accounts or forms
There are no comments, no reader accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no contact forms, so the site never asks for your name or email address.
Cookies
The site doesn’t set any cookies for readers. WordPress sets its usual login cookies only for the site’s administrator when she signs in to manage the site. Cloudflare (see below) may set a strictly necessary security cookie, such as __cf_bm, when it needs to tell people apart from automated traffic.
Cloudflare and Cloudflare Web Analytics
Pages are delivered through Cloudflare, which sits between your browser and the server. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, your browser’s user agent and the pages you request.
The site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. Cloudflare describes it as privacy-first: it doesn’t use cookies or local storage and doesn’t fingerprint visitors. It reports totals such as page views, referring sites, browser type and country. Cloudflare’s own policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
Server logs
The web server keeps short-lived technical logs (time, page requested, referring page and browser user agent) for troubleshooting. Because traffic reaches the server through a Cloudflare tunnel, these logs don’t record your IP address. They are rotated and deleted after about two weeks.
Third parties, feeds and links
Apart from the Cloudflare Web Analytics script, the site doesn’t load fonts, images or scripts from other companies. If you follow the RSS feed, your feed reader fetches it like any other page. Posts link to other websites, and once you follow a link that site’s own privacy policy applies. The fediverse account at elanabelle.kavicorner.uk is a separate service.
Your choices
You can block the analytics script with a content blocker without losing anything on the site. To ask what data relates to you, or to ask for something to be removed, email [email protected].

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
